I have chosen these products because they are made by people who are fully committed to making products that are safe for us, healthy for our environment and give superb results. There are a lot of chemicals and ingredients to avoid when it comes to hair and skin care. The makers of these products are all dedicated to not using ingredients that are potentially toxic, allergy causing or harmful to the environment. All of these products are also vegan and and creulty free.
I use both Neuma and Max Green Alchemy (MGA) for shampoo, conditioner and other styling products.
The color I use is OriginalMineral’s (O&M) CØR Color line.
Neuma
Neuma’s products are free from many ingredients often found in other hair care products: they contain no propylene or butylene glycol, no urea, no formaldehyde, no phthalates, no parabens, no triethanolamine (TEA) lauryl sulfate or triethanolamine (TEA) laureth sulfate. Neuma maintains an extensive list of ingredients that they refuse to use. Their bottles are 95% post-consumer recycled, their packaging paper is 100% recycled, and their energy is 100% certified wind energy offset. More about their values can be found here.
MGA
MGA carefully controls what goes into their products. They use ingredients of pure plant origin and are dedicated to using organic and non-GMO sourcing wherever possible. Their products are also free of many of the common ingredients found in hair and skin products: no parabens, no petrochemicals, no sodium lauryl/laureth sulphates, no diethanolamine (DEA) or triethanolamine (TEA), no imidazolidinyl urea or diazolidinyl urea . MGA also keeps a full list of the ingredients that they do not use in their products. You can also learn more here.
O&M’s CØR Color line provides the vibrancy and permanency of conventional hair color without the fumes and chemicals commonly found in conventional hair color—O&M color uses no ammonia, no PPD (paraphenylenediamine) and no resorcinol. More about O&M’s story and products can be found here.
